Mike Piershale is the founder and senior pastor of the River of Life Church, which began in January of 2024.

After having a powerful experience with the Holy Spirit as a young man, Mike was at a crossroads on whether to go to seminary or go into business, and decided at that time to become a financial advisor.

With what he called the “grace of God” upon him, he rose to the top of two different national broker/dealer firms, consistently ranking in the top 1% in sales and production.

In the year 2000, he founded his own financial planning firm, which he successfully ran for 23 years before merging with a larger firm.

Over the years Mike has always felt a call to teach God's word, and has led bible studies and small groups in both churches and in his home.

In May of 2018, Mike along with his wife Margaret, graduated from Charis Bible College and then served for several years in ministries in a local church where Mike also served as an elder.

In 2024 they felt the call of God to start River of Life Church with a vision to see the power of God operate in the church as it did in the book of Acts with signs and wonders following, as a way to reach the lost and build up the body of Christ.
